Baramulla, May 13 (KNO): A New Type Primary Health Center (NTPHC) building at Seru Dangerpora village in Pattan has become a nuisance for the general public as the health facility has been abandoned by the authorities. The building was completed four years ago with the locals accusing the administration of wasting public funds. Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), people said that they are facing immense problems due to the lack of health care facilities in their vicinity. “We have to travel to Pattan or Tangmarg for a minor medical complication. The building has been in shambles due to sheer negligence of the authorities. The building with damaged windows and doors looks like a ghost house,” said Manzoor Ahmed Bhat. He said they have apprised the concerned authorities and Deputy commissioner several times to no avail while seeking intervention of LG. Block Medical Officer (BMO) Pattan, Dr Mastoora could not be contacted despite repeated calls—(KNO)
